Holly Willoughby compares son to Dumb and Dumber’s Lloyd after bad haircut

Holly Willoughby has revealed that she has given her son Chester a “dodgy” haircut in lockdown.

The mother-of-three, 39, giggled as she shared on Thursday’s This Morning that her bad scissor work left her little boy, five, looking like the character of Lloyd Christmas, played by Jim Carrey, in the 1994 film Dumb and Dumber.

Holly came clean about the hairdressing mishap during a segment with guest Vanessa Feltz – where they discussed children in lockdown.

After a viewer called in to tell about their child shaving their own head, Holly told co-host Phillip Schofield and Vanessa: “I am surprised my son Chester has not done it himself!

“I gave him such a dodgy haircut the other day,” she spilled.

“I thought through lockdown I had done it so well but then I did it so badly the other day!”

Phil – who must have seen a snap of the hair disaster off air – then started shouted: “The fringe? The fringe?”

He then hinted that maybe the hair style looks better with the help of gel, as he added: “If he puts a little bit of product in?”

To which Holly blurted out: “It is not good it is like the cover for Dumb and Dumber!”

Finding the situation hilarious she erupted into laughter and covered her mouth.

Last week, Holly took the day off from This Morning so she could take her three children back to school after three months off due to the  coronavirus lockdown.

After dropping her kid off Holly posted a photo from the “new normal” school run with Harry, 11, Belle, nine, and Chester, five.

“The new norm… back to school…” she wrote alongside a cute snap of her and her children’s feet.

Before Monday, Holly’s youngest Chester was the only one of her children who was attending lessons, as he was in reception, and it is only this week that education establishments have been able to open their doors to more year groups.
