One of the stars of Love Island
An unnamed Islander is said be threatening to expose alleged fakery in which arguments involving fan fan favourites were cut from broadcast.
They claim certain couples were “fame-hungry” and “fake” – and they want to tell the truth as soon as their ITV contract expires.
A source told The Sun Online : “They say that arguments involving certain popular stars were not aired to keep them on the show while the cast of Casa Amor were forgotten about.
“This person says there are some fake couples and thinks it’s time for the fame-hungry and fake stars to be outed.”
The news comes after previous contestant Sherif Lanre broke ranks by speaking out against the show following his axe.
He was booted out for accidentally kicking Molly-Mae Hague in the groin and calling it a “c*** punt”, and his exit was never shown.
Sherif later accused the show of treating him differently to the other contestants, telling The Sun On Sunday: “There was one guy, who I will not name, who repeatedly used the N-word as he rapped in front of me.
“He said it two or three times and he was not pulled aside even though the code forbids racist language. The same rules did not seem to apply to the other contestants.|
He added: “I can’t rule out that racism was a factor here. I think there may have been some unconscious racism.”
Love Island bosses denied his claims.
Mirror Online has contacted show representatives for comment.
