Die hard fans of Little Mix star Perrie Edwards will know that she was born without a sense of smell.
However, during her episode of Eat In With Little Mix, the popstar was convinced she had made a miraculous recovery as she whisked up a curry for her bandmates, Jade Thirlwall, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.
The girls are taking turns to host a dinner party in a Come Dine With Me-inspired YouTube series that has so far provided plenty of entertainment to fans.
And Perrie was next to have people in stitches as she tried to smell her cooking to no avail.
Stirring a lentil daal she was throwing together with the help of her mum Debbie, the singer leaned towards the steamy pan and did her best to catch a whiff.
Gasping, Perrie told her mum: “I’m getting something,” before her mum quickly laughed and bluntly replied: “No.”
Perrie had told fans about her condition, anosmia, earlier in the YouTube episode, informing them that she put extra emphasis on flavour because she couldn’t smell.
“Lmao I was dieing when perrie thought she could smell and Debbie was just like ‘no,'” one fan wrote after watching her video.
Despite having no idea what aroma her dinner was giving off, Perrie’s bandmates told her it smelt amazing.
And her food obviously tasted good too, bagging a score of 484 – dramatically higher than Leigh-Anne’s 103 or Jesy’s measly 77.
It’s Jade’s turn next week.
