Amelia Le Bruin became the third baker to be booted out of The Great British Bake Off tonight.
The 24-year-old was in tears after her name was announced as the latest casualty in the tent.
She sadly failed to rise to the challenge in Bread Week and left Paul Hollywood very unimpressed with her sub-par bakes.
Fashion designer Amelia said that she was “absolutely gutted” to be leaving the show already.
“I’ve always, always, always said that Bread Week for me would be about survival – and I just didn’t survive,” she said.
After the result was announced, Paul said that she was a “decent baker with sound ideas”, but execution of her bread bakes had let her down.
“She struggled in the signature and she was very low down in the technical as well,” Paul said.
Meanwhile Star Baker was announced as Michael, who wowed the judges with his Showstopper.
Michael described himself as being a “little overwhelmed” after his name had been called out.
“Maybe I will try making bread again – maybe I’ll try it a couple more times,” he said, quipping: “But I’ll never score it again!”
Paul praised Michael for having a “great week” before it was revealed that the bakers would be tackling Dairy Week next week.
The bakers will need to take on a tudor technical and a very tough Showstopper…
