Barcelona have been dealt a blow as defender Nelson Semedo has reportedly asked to leave to join La Liga rivals Atletico Madrid.
The Portuguese star has been in and out of the side for his team this season, with him and Sergi Roberto sharing right-back duties.
Barca have no intention to sell, but now face a struggle to keep him happy with Atletico offering the promise of first-team football.
Atletico boss Diego Simeone is keen on the 25-year-old, but Barca will demand at least £31m for the player who cost them just shy of that two years ago.
One option for both sides however, would be to include Semedo as part of a deal to take Antoine Griezmann to the Nou Camp.
The French striker has revealed he will leave Atletico this summer, with Barca thought to be his likely destination.
He would cost considerably more, with his release clause due to reduce to £106m in July, but Barca could exercise the idea of parting with Semedo in order to land Griezmann for a smaller financial outlay.
Atletico are desperate for defensive reinforcements, with Diego Godin, Juanfran and Lucas Hernandez all leaving the club.
Barcelona meanwhile have reportedly stuck seven players on the transfer list as they prepare for a summer clearout .
The Catalan club are hopeful of raising transfer funds with the sale of former Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho, who looks set to lead the exodus.
PSG and Man Utd are interested in his services, but Coutinho will cost in upwards of £100m.
Established first team stars Malcom, Jasper Cillessen and Andre Gomes are among the others set to leave, whilst Denis Suarez will also depart after an unsuccessful loan spell at Arsenal , having made just a handful of appearances since January.
